AS/NZS 62368.1:2022
After 4 years of AS/NZS 62368.1:2018, Australia has finally published AS/NZS 62368.1:2022 on June 24, 2022 and will enforce it 3 years later (June24, 2025). Both AS/NZS 62368.1:2018 and AS/NZS 62368.1:2022 are valid during the transition period until June 24, 2025, after which AS/NZS 62368.1:2018 will be replaced.
GB 4943.1-2022
On July 19, 2022, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released the national standard GB 4943.1-2022, which is “Audio/video, information and communication technology equipment-Part 1: Safety requirements”. The new national standard will be fully implemented on August 1, 2023, replacing the GB 4943.1-2011 and GB 8898-2011 standards. The revision of the new national standard adopts the IEC international standard: IEC 62368-1:2018, which was officially released by the International Electrotechnical Products Committee on October 4, 2018, and has been widely accepted in various member states and converted into local standards.
